The last couple weeks we have been checking in at the Durham Farmers Market because of its awesome meat selection and to get away from the University crowd. Carrboro Farmers Market is great, but if you want a broader meat selection, Durham has it. On top of that there is music, 2-3 times as many vendors, parks, food trucks and a more diverse crowd. This week we picked up Chorizo Buffalo sausage and local Duck breast, the name of which escapes me right now, but it is supposed to be leaner than Mallard, which is typically served in restaurants. Located in downtown Durham, it’s a baller place to spend a Saturday morning.
